About the journal

Aims and scope

Business & IT is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering. The journal publishes original research and scholarly contributions in economics, finance, management, marketing and business, and information technology, with a distinctive focus on interdisciplinary studies that connect these fields with civil engineering and the built environment.

The journal provides a venue for academics, researchers and practitioners whose work bridges business, information technology, construction and architecture. We welcome submissions that examine the interaction between these disciplines and that offer methodological rigour, clear contribution to knowledge, and relevance to an international readership.

Published article types include original research papers, review articles, methodological tutorials, discussion and polemical contributions, and book reviews. All content is published in English. The journal was established in 2011 and is committed to rigorous academic standards and to transparent editorial and ethical practice.

The journal is published by the Department of Economics and Management in Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
