Policy
Open access, licensing and copyright
Open access
Business & IT is a fully open-access journal. Every article is freely available online immediately on publication, without subscription, registration or payment. Our open access policy is intended to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and to maximise the reach and impact of the research we publish.
Licensing
Since 2016, all articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Under this licence, users are free to copy, redistribute, remix, transform and build upon the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the journal, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their work. By submitting, authors grant the journal the right to publish the article and identify the journal as the original place of publication. Because articles are licensed CC BY 4.0, authors and third parties may reuse the published work with proper attribution. An author who wishes to publish under different terms must inform the editorial office before publication.
Self-archiving
Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories and on their personal or institutional web pages, with a link to the version of record and its DOI.
No charges
There are no article-processing charges, submission charges or page charges. Publication is free for authors, and access is free for readers.
